You make it sound like I'm anti technology. I'm against solving a problem that didn't f*cking exist. Do we really need more Family Guy clips and screamer sites and people posting videos they got on ebaums? Between flash, cheaper video cameras (including mad tech available at schools now,) web cams, easily pirated video software, etc, it's not like there was some critical absence of video capability. Anyone with a vision already had a ton of tools available to them. All this is going to enable is weak-ass hackery.

MewTwo, (i think) each user here is responsible for siting their own sources, so it's not the same as at ebaums where neil and eric can submit sh*t to their own site pretending to be an anonymous user and then wait months after complaints to take it down. I say keep the sponsored section, max. It's a good idea for the site even without needing the money, plus you make money off of it. A win for everyone.

Even if other people are putting up the content, Max's site is still hosting it. And really, that's what Bauman does. HOSTS it. Never says he created it. I don't hate YTMND by any means. Most of my bookmarks are of fads here. It's just hypocritical to make money and allow people to slam eBaum at the same time. Pick ONE.

To Mewtwostruckback: Large difference between YTMND and Ebaums. Ebaums does it for a living. He makes a load of money off of material he steals and "hosts" on his site. YTMND takes donations to help pay for the server and keep the site running. As far as I can tell max is still working a job like everyone else and he doesn't sound like he's a millionaire like Ebaum.

Jimmy: Thank you for your non-flaming reply. I know YTMND's ads and eBaum's ads exist for 2 different reasons, keeping a site alive or generating mass cash. But $ is still being made, thus Max'd be hypocritical to leave anti-Bauman sites up. (The removal of all anti-Bauman sites should have been DAILY, not a one-time thing.)

The fact that you are asking me to remove anti-ebaums sites daily is suspicious to say the least. There are thousands if not tens of thousands of sites that should be removed for much better reasons than an anti-ebaums sentiment. Also, it's called freedom of speech.

Right, it's your freedom, but if you're pulling in cash from stuff users made that stole from other people, it does look really bad to simultaneously bash ebaums for the same thing. Unauthorized use of copyrighted characters (frequently in a context that isn't parody,) wholesale lifting of clips from TV and movies, unauthorized use of music? Come on. I don't have anything against it - I'm about as pro-theft as it gets - but don't get high and mighty about how you're the "good guy" thief. I think Mewto missed my point back there. I probably didn't make it clear enough. If anybody wants to sue Max for all the copyrighted music and images, feel free, it's exactly the same as eBaums in that respect, but we all signed up for YTMND, and fight each other to create the best page. This is all original work that has been willingly submitted to YTMND, granted with copyrighted material in them, but with humour added. eBaums just steals, makes nothing himself, leeches off others ideas without credit, and for that, Bauman and his employees should go kill themselves. YTMND is the RIGHT way to steal.

No one is going to sue Ebaums, and no one is going to sue YTMND. Hosting all sorts of media is what the internet is for, and there are much more important issues for the law system to be dealing with, than these petty disputes. Seriously, no one really cares. You cite the sources, you get the original artists more exposure, and everyone wins. End of story.

AdSense is what webmasters use to support servers, thousands of pop-ups and 'CLICK TO SHOOT THE DUCK', 'OUTDANCE HER' and many things designed to trick stupid people are just for moneymaking. crimson, I was trying to quell the desire to instantly avoid reading the news and posting your number, obviously I failed miserably. I like how everyone says how much sh*t I give ebaum about making a profit when his name comes out of my mouth about once a month and the only time I ever said that it was to his father, once. If you want to criticize me for profiting from site sponsorships, feel free. If it weren't for site sponsorships this site would probably be dead due to lack of hardware.
