(2)
its possible.. and its called a t-spin... it has somthing to do with the way the engine takes cars of collisions... in fact you get bonus points for them in tetris DS
October 6th, 2009
(2)
Not to be confused with "meat-spin" in which a T is also involved.

Go ahead and do it, it wouldn't be very difficult.
July 10th, 2006
(1)

July 10th, 2006

Lt. Worf: "Ha ha ha ha ha! ..... Impossible."
July 10th, 2006

Such skill is not human. Welcome to the cyborg legion, my boy. 5 robolimbs for you.

It's totally NOT possible in the NES, Original Gameboy, or any early versions of the game I've ever played. Perhaps the DS version...which looks like it gives you some type of countdown (color fade) to a piece getting locked into place. I haven't played the DS version though, so I don't really know.
July 11th, 2006
(0)
try that on game B level 9.
July 11th, 2006

it was made possible when tetris remakes were being made, where you'd have time to rotate a pice, or what i call 'piece dancing.' t-spin is hard to do though, and if you're caught using it, there's a possibility that you suck at tetris and you make random holes. :D
July 11th, 2006
(1)
I was searching tetris, as I do everyday, and this popped up.
July 11th, 2006
(0)
5 because I like tetris.
July 11th, 2006
(0)
But which version of Tetris is this possible in? Some are more strict about landings than others.
July 11th, 2006
(0)
I wonder if that would help in actually getting a good score in BasTet (bastard tetris)

I would thoroughly enjoy the Worf idea.
July 11th, 2006

Get rid of the "T-SPIN" text... Most EPIC's dont use that. Also the white bg, in my opinion, would look better black :) Nice though.
July 11th, 2006

Interesting. I didn't know you could do THAT. Next time I play Tetris, I gotta try that move out.

Don't use the Nightwish music unless it's really an "epic" site!
(0)
unpossible
July 11th, 2006
(0)
T-spin! And there's room for a back to back! Chances of it to happen in a real game are low.
July 11th, 2006
(0)
Actually, whoever said it wasn't possible on the early versions of the game are correct. The NES controller ran off a very low clock cycle (which isn't surprising, but kind've is when you think about playing Mario.) I used it as a final project for one of my earlier college courses. I still may have the info somewhere.

Get rid of the "T-SPIN" text... Most EPIC's dont use that. Also the white bg, in my opinion, would look better black :) Nice though... on the other hand I kind of think it sucks as it is. 3 Star.

July 19th, 2006

wow, I was just wondering how the heck you're supposed to clear three lines with a t-spin. And here it is.
July 23rd, 2006
(0)
I still say this manuever is impossible in any version of Tetris I've played. While you can move a piece and turn it after it's "set" there has to be room for that piece to "fit." This is clearly an alteration.
July 24th, 2006

T-SPIN FTW

Tetris Worlds, Tetris Deluxe, Tetris The Grand Master 3 Terror-Instinct, Tetris DS, Tetris Zone, Tetris Evolution, and Tetris Splash all allow this move. But are they all one version?

"Oh look, a glitch that works in exactly one version of Tetris." You mean ALL new versions. You see, Henk Rogers has been imposing a rule set called "SRS" on all new games that bear the TETRIS mark, from mid-2001 on. For more info, see the profile of http://infinitespin.ytmnd.com/
