What I prefer to see on YTMND. Well, anything that can make use of the tools YTMND gives is great to have on the site, I hate it when people think if it's not humorous then it's not YTMND material; that's so untrue. Either way, I really like this, but there's something about just some pre-made picture, put with some music, which, though very well-fitting, keeps me from 5'ing.
How has everyone forgotten that max's first site is just an art school joke, more ironic, esoteric, and coy than funny? At the time it came out it appealed only to a select group of people who understood coding, and is only funny in it's smirking critique of pop culture. How is it that the "artier" users here are any different than that?
