I heard Bush turned to Laura, said "Let's get the hell out of here." and one of the camera guys just happens to pan over to him and catch him saying that....and so did everything else. It was projected on to the big screen everyone in the audience could see. Then, to save face, he back peddles, grabs the baton and starts conducting. Man, what an idjet.
