My first year college hallmate did a funnel of vodka one night. It was late and we'd already had too much as it was, so the rest of us were too drunk to realize what a bad idea it was. He lived, didn't even have to get his stomach pumped, but I honestly don't know how. He was just one of "those guys" who could do a funnel of vodka after hours of drinking and not die. He is a vice president with Altria Group now. A real life Don Draper, basically.
