This is actually a nice piece of work compared to all the other mass-produced pink ytmnd's. I agree with what you said about the game play too (at least for the online); its full of egotistic jerks.
Depends on what you mean by cleaned up. All the mediocre - crappy YTMND's end up on the bottom of search lists, and people normally ignore them. Since such YTMND's go w/o views, they are ignored (and not viewed), so they do not use bandwidth. And a number of crappy YTMND's are by people who aren't, and will likely never be a featured user.
