I hope you realize that Atheism is the finality in your train of logic. The same cause of this murder have been played on and used in Christianity countless times. Present Islam is Medieval Christianity in its full fledged ignorance and brutality. Unable to cope in this modern world and thus must either fight or die. Moderate Christianity will fare better but it will die out not much later than Fundamentalist Christianity. All religion will eventually regress into Deism, Pantheism, or Atheism.
