Any true christian does not believe that some god throws nonbelievers into hell. After all, christianity isn't even known to everyone, and a god that willfully condemned, oh, billions of people...say, these living around ~100 AC on the american continent - wouldn't be a god but a monster. ;) That's the issue. A loving god does not do what you claim he does. ;) So either your god isn't loving, but completely insane, or he doesn't care that much if you believe in him. I'd say the later.
