Considering that a satellite with plutonium slammed into jupiter without anything happening, nothing's going to happen when they finally deorbit cassini.

No, I'm sorry, giraffe music CAN justify a dead giraffe. Just this once, at least. I'm still lolling.

The republican party is meaningless, they have diluted everything they stood for. But conservatism remains true. Here's something that'll be news to idiots like vin here: tax cuts raise gov. revenue. Since the 2003 tax cuts, gov. revenue has INCREASED BY $785 BILLION! No money going into gov? BS! BTW vin, nothing is stopping "educated" voters like you from giving more than you're required back to the gov. Feel free to write a check to the treasury. Just don't force us to jump off the cliff with you.

Ah yes, whether or not ORLY was truly being racist is less important than shutting him up. Even Al "The Dukes of Rape" Sharpton says that ORLY wasn't being racist. If there was any way his comments could have been taken to be racist, Sharpton would have found a way to be offended. Even if you buy into the distortion that Media Matters is putting on the situation, you have to come to the conclusion that ORLY was having a revelation about his racist beliefs and he is now less racist than before.

Your theory phails to account for a couple of things. The van halen belt only spans 40 degrees of latitude, and the astronauts barely grazed the edge of this belt - resulting in no more exposure than about one hour in downtown san francisco. In addition, Van Halen gay fuel is composed of protons and electrons; it is not shielded by lead as that produces the dreaded Bremsstrahlung effect, but it is shieled by fibrous material (which was built into the spacecraft) that blocks colons and particle radiation.

More whining from someone who's obviously upset that the US actually won the cold war. Rex 84 was a contingency plan in case of a major disruption (like say, nuclear attack, national uncontrolled rioting, etc), that's all. It's nothing new though, Reagan didn't start it; similar plans have been around for 40-50 years at least. Now it's just a rallying cry for conspiracy nutters who take a nugget of truth and try to build a gold mine out of it.
