? Salvia binds to and activates kappa-opioid receptors but does not activate the mu-opioid receptor. DMT doesn't activate either of those receptors. You undergo stimulation and tactile hallucination during trip. No perceivable after-effects. No known long term side effects. May be some link with schizophrenia, since it has been detected in vivo.
