Couldn't help it, I like fads that have been driven into the ground. That and cats.

These are the kind of YTMND's that stopped me from visiting everyday. I know the site is about expression, but at the end of the day, I just want a laugh. I want to click on a few funny sites and go on with my day. When I want philosophical debate, I'll read a book. In addition to that - these sites don't convert anyone. On both sides. They just play to their audiences. If the message is strong enough on its own, it doesn't need a preacher.
