Any N-Dimensional projection on a 2-D surface is just as valid as any other.

You morons saying it's not 4D because W is not orthogonal (perpendicular) to X Y Z are stupid. Z isn't orthogonal, either, on a 2D surface.

is just as valid as a 3d cube with the same projection. This has been your higher-level math lesson for the day.

In reality, the maximum limit is 3 (a cube), but there is no such limit mathematically. A 4-D cube projected onto a 2-D surface

The definition of an N-Dimensional 'cube' is that it has N orthogonal vectors emiting from the same point.
