You still should have picked a less touchy topic, though. There are going to be people who are a lot more offended by this than I am, and reasonably so. I'll bet that there's at least several people online right now who know somebody who died or was injured. That's not going to help your argument, and neither is your dismissal of the loss of human life.

Agreed, but not really. If this kid just did something stupid like burn down an outbuilding or hack the college's website, I could see your point. But 33 kids killed, not to mention more injured? No. You are completely wrong.
