There's two major reasons so many people have a beef with ID. The first is that it's thinly veiled creatonism. Since the supreme court ruled that religion could not be taught in a state-funded school the most popular "Creationist Sciencebook" had all the references to god changed to "Intelligent Designer" (And in the Kansas city hearings they provided the next iteration of the book prepareing changing the Intelligent Designer references to something else in preparation for when ID is ruled to be religion.)

The only reason this is controversial is because we're CURIOUS as humans. We FEAR the unknown. We HATE those who oppose us. And as this fad has shown, we LOVE to argue. This definately makes me SAD. Well my comments are buried way up there, but first off,(1) Five for donating a lot of money to YTMND. You help us all continue to make our dumb little sites. (2)this is very similar to Douglas Adams "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" so had you concluded this presentation with the "BABEL FISH" confirming Intelligent Design, rather than the scriptures, this would have been better recieved and had some LOLs to boot. (3) I highly doubt "Infinite Monkeys/Infinite Typewriters can create Shakespeare."

I love it. Pretty much all politcians are corrupt. The left and right maintain power by pitting us against each other. This thread is proof of that. There is no us against them. They are slowly taking away our freedoms while keeping us distracted and divided with irrelevent 'hot button' issues that never really seem to get resolved. Stay aware and stay informed.
