In my younger and more vulnerable years my father gave me some advice that I've been turning over in my mind ever since.

"Whenever you feel like criticizing any one," he told me, "just remember that all the people in this world haven't had the advantages that you've had."

He didn't say any more, but we've always been unusually communicative in a reserved way, and I understood that he meant a great deal more than that. In consequence, I'm inclined to reserve all judgments, a habit that has opened up many curious natures to me and also made me the victim of not a few veteran bores. The abnormal mind is quick to detect and attach itself to this quality when it appears in a normal person, and so it came about that in college I was unjustly accused of being a politician, because I was privy to the secret griefs of wild, unknown men. Most of the confidences were unsought-frequently I have feigned sleep, preoccupation, or a hostile levity when I realized by some unmistakable sign that an intimate revelation was quivering on the horizon; for the intimate revelations of young men, or at least the terms in which they express them, are usually plagiaristic and marred by obvious suppressions. Reserving judgments is a matter of infinite hope. I am still a little afraid of missing something if I forget that, as my father snobbishly suggested, and I snobbishly repeat, a sense of the fundamental decencies is parcelled out unequally at birth.

He's a dwarf and pretty good actor, often in stuff with big nerd fandoms like Game of Thrones or the X-Men thing you mentioned. A lot of women apparently find him to be very handsome, so that's part of what's going on.

The Game of Thrones creators require him to do an accent for no good reason, and it's terrible. He'd seem a much better actor if they hadn't made him do that.

If racing for pink slips? Didn't you see Grease? I thought a century of Western cinema had made it clear: The winner always gets the vag. I mean, that's why Elliot Rodger died a virgin. Because he always competed using some complicated, ten-tiered "winners bracket" bullshit like this and could never keep it up through the final round.

PDE finally figured it out: you gotta go for broke, one-on-one, mano-a-mano, two men enter, one man leaves, a Thunderdome-style dick comparing contest. He and Uncircumcised finally went head to head (heh) and PDE won, finally got laid, and is slightly less annoying now. But Uncircumcised? Look at what happened to that embarassed.ytmnd.com perpetual "incel" virgin! Literally changed his name to woman and spends his days spamming a dead website and acting like he saw a ghost whenever someone posts images of a vagina.

Like I said, you get the 1st shot because I'm so confident he'll mop the floor with you, there'll be no need for a Round 2. Because he knows so much about you, I'll provide some background facts to help even the playing field:

- he's about 3 yrs old but still looks & acts like a puppy
- he was about 25lbs when we got him, had nasty skin patches, and all kinds of worms and parasites; now he's about 40lbs and still has dandruff
- he's got angular limb disorder in his front legs, so he stands funny and walks sort of like a sidewinder
- because his front legs are shorter than his back legs, he's a bit brokebacked, with his butt higher than his shoulders and a curved spine
- he was rescued in So. Carolina and brought up north with a bunch of pits and, because he looked disabled, everyone thought he'd been abused (he hadn't; he was just funny looking), that he couldn't walk more than a block or so, and that he couldn't do stairs
- he's deathly afraid of water in all forms from puddles to rain to baths to the beach and he thinks we control the weather so he gets mad at me when it rains
- he's scared of folding laundry, the noise our sound system makes when I plug something in (laptop, Ipod, etc) to the mini jack cable, and thinks the salad spinner and vacuum cleaner are tools of Satan
- unlike many dogs that pick up on their owners' anxieties, he's not racist. we're the only honkies on our block and he's totally friendly with everyone, from the black guys who sit in their cars and smoke blunts all night to the Nepalese and Sudanese kids who are terrified of him because they likely had some horrifying experience with dogs back in their countries--which leads us to assume that he was raised in a black household down in SC
- he growls at men with clipboards

That should give you a start, so take your best shot in either site (recommended for comedic effect) or comment form. And may the best dog win!!!

It is altogether fitting and proper that we should do this.

But, in a larger sense, we can not dedicate -- we can not consecrate -- we can not hallow -- this ground. Mrs. Hurst and Miss Bingley both cried out against the injustice of her implied doubt, and were both protesting that they knew many women who answered this description, when Mr. Hurst called them to order, with bitter complaints of their inattention to what was going forward. As all conversation was thereby at an end, Elizabeth soon afterwards left the room.

"Eliza Bennet," said Miss Bingley, when the door was closed on her, "is one of those young ladies who seek to recommend themselves to the other sex by undervaluing their own; and with many men, I dare say, it succeeds. But, in my opinion, it is a paltry device, a very mean art."

"Undoubtedly," replied Darcy, to whom this remark was chiefly addressed, "there is meanness in all the arts which ladies sometimes condescend to employ for captivation. Whatever bears affinity to cunning is despicable."

"I have an excessive regard for Jane Bennet; she is really a very sweet girl, and I wish with all my heart she were well settled. But with such a father and mother, and such low connections, I am afraid there is no chance of it."

"I think I have heard you say that their uncle is an attorney in Meryton."

"Yes; and they have another, who lives somewhere near Cheapside."

"That is capital," added her sister, and they both laughed heartily.

"If they had uncles enough to fill all Cheapside," cried Bingley, "it would not make them one jot less agreeable."

"But it must very materially lessen their chance of marrying men of any consideration in the world," replied Darcy.

To this speech Bingley made no answer; but his sisters gave it their hearty assent, and indulged their mirth for some time at the expense of their dear friend's vulgar relations.

With a renewal of tenderness, however, they repaired to her room on leaving the dining-parlour, and sat with her till summoned to coffee. She was still very poorly, and Elizabeth would not quit her at all, till late in the evening, when she had the comfort of seeing her asleep, and when it appeared to her rather right than pleasant that she should go down stairs herself. On entering the drawing-room she found the whole party at loo, and was immediately invited to join them; but suspecting them to be playing high, she declined it, and making her sister the excuse, said she would amuse herself for the short time she could stay below, with a book. Mr. Hurst looked at her with astonishment.

"Do you prefer reading to cards?" said he; "that is rather singular."

r. You
had much better dance."
"I certainly shall not. You know how I detest it, unless I am
particularly acquainted with my partner. At such an assembly
as this, it would be insupportable. Your sisters are engaged,
and there is not another woman in the room, whom it would
not be a punishment to me to stand up with."
"I would not be so fastidious as you are," cried Bingley, "for
a kingdom! Upon my honour I never met with so many
pleasant girls in my life, as I have this evening; and there are
several of them you see uncommonly pretty."
" You are dancing with the only handsome girl in the room,"
said Mr. Darcy, looking at the eldest Miss Bennet.
"Oh! she is the most beautiful creature I ever beheld! But
there is one of her sisters sitting down just behind you, who
is very pretty, and I dare say, very agreeable. Do let me ask
my partner to introduce you."
"Which do you mean?" and turning round, he looked for
a moment at Elizabeth, till catching her eye, he withdrew his
own and coldly said, "She is tolerable; but not handsome
enough to tempt me; and I am in no humour at present to give
consequence to young ladies who are slighted by other men.
You had better return to your partner and enjoy her smiles,
for you are wasting your time with me."
Mr. Bingley followed his advice. Mr. Darcy walked off;
and Elizabeth remained with no very cordial feelings towards
him. She told the story however with great spirit among her
friends; for she had a lively, playful disposition, which
delighted in any thing ridiculous.
The evening altogether passed off pleasantly to the whole
family. Mrs. Bennet had seen her eldest daughter much
admired by the Netherfield party. Mr. Bingley had danced
with her twice, and she had been distinguished by his sisters.
Jane was as much gratified by this, as her mother could be,
though in a quieter way.

I am no stranger to these excuses.

Ali is from the USA. He did what he did to evade the Vietnam War draft. His name would still likely be "Cassius Clay" had there been no such threat. If you don't believe me, many young men ran to England and Canada to avoid the draft back in the 1960s. So why not other diversionary tactics?

I don't expect him to support violence against women because he was not raised to believe in such things as an American. Especially when his reasons for apparent conversion might not actually be religious.

Just telling me that it is a billion people who are muslim does not mean anything regarding what they believe. Why do we not hear about moderate muslims who denounce those who demand Sharia law? Why do we not hear about the 'non-extremist' muslims who denounce honor killings? You would think from those billion there would be some more who are vocal and loud.

Also, explain to me why so many muslim countries, including Saudi Arabia, Iran, Afghanistan, Dubai, Qatar, Yemen, Iraq, as well as Nigerian and Sudanese regions have state enforced Sharia law.

Also, explain to me why when a country becomes more Islamic why then it is more likely to have Sharia law and women forced to wear veils on their faces:
http://www.thebenevolentforce.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/Before-A
nd-After-The-Iranian-Revolution1.jpg
