well, no, not necessarily a PORN site.
EROTIC doesn't have to mean explicitly showing sexual penetration.

Just imagine that this beautiful woman invited you on a camping trip with a group of friends, but everyone crapped out and cancelled.
so, you go with her by yourself and in the tent at night she tells you that it's her birthday and she didn't think anyone needed to know because at her age, birthdays aren't really a big deal anymore.
then she tells you she hasn't had sex in almost a year.
just think about stuff like that and bring that to the table when you make your site.

what's in it for you?
the sexual satisfaction you'll get out of brainstorming / making the site, first in your boxers and eventually in no boxers.

Cute song! This song did wear me out on the feud with Slim Anus, er, Eminem, though. Plus, why would you diss someone's mom when that someone hates his own mom? BTW, I DON'T like Eminem. He's actually incredibly talented, but he's so hateful I can't listen to him. I do like his song Stan with Dido, though. He does a GREAT job making a point about how the music we listen to is FANTASY, not reality. Of course, I do realize there are songs based on real life events such as Billy Joel's "We Didn't Start the Fire" (thanks again for posting that!), Don McLean's "American Pie" and Immortal Technique's "Bin Laden."

This isn't just a gif. There are two animated images here, and music. You see, I believe that sometimes a user can "curate" appropriated images that they didn't even make and put them together with sound to make an aesthetic statement. I vote positively when I like the combination. I vote negatively when I don't. Most of the time I don't. The majority of my votes are 1, but I'm sure at least 50% of that is moon man / santabot dreck, of course.

There are quite a few people who fived this site, but you seem to be on this kick where you critique only my votes and then refer to me as a 20 something faggot - is this your style of passive-aggressive flirting with people? Now that greenscreen's gone am I your new target of affection? Whatever. See you at my next critical misjudgement - I'm going to five star Marcel Duchamp's "Fountain." You can downvote me and call me a 20 something faggot for upvoting something clearly re-posted from a bathroom.

http://www.nytimes.com/packages/html/nyregion/20050812_WTC_GRAPHIC
/Ryan_William.txt

"Firehouse: Did that chief give an assignment to go to building 7?

Boyle: He gave out an assignment. I didn’t know exactly what it was, but he told the chief that we were heading down to the site.

Firehouse: How many companies?

Boyle: There were four engines and at least three trucks. So we’re heading east on Vesey, we couldn’t see much past Broadway. We couldn’t see Church Street. We couldn’t see what was down there. It was really smoky and dusty."

"A little north of Vesey I said, we’ll go down, let’s see what’s going on. A couple of the other officers and I were going to see what was going on. We were told to go to Greenwich and Vesey and see what’s going on. So we go there and on the north and east side of 7 it didn’t look like there was any damage at all, but then you looked on the south side of 7 there had to be a hole 20 stories tall in the building, with fire on several floors. Debris was falling down on the building and it didn’t look good.

But they had a hoseline operating. Like I said, it was hitting the sidewalk across the street, but eventually they pulled back too. Then we received an order from Fellini, we’re going to make a move on 7. That was the first time really my stomach tightened up because the building didn’t look good. I was figuring probably the standpipe systems were shot. There was no hydrant pressure. I wasn’t really keen on the idea. Then this other officer I’m standing next to said, that building doesn’t look straight. So I’m standing there. I’m looking at the building. It didn’t look right, but, well, we’ll go in, we’ll see.

So we gathered up rollups and most of us had masks at that time. We headed toward 7. And just around we were about a hundred yards away and Butch Brandies came running up. He said forget it, nobody’s going into 7, there’s creaking, there are noises coming out of there, so we just stopped. And probably about 10 minutes after that, Visconti, he was on West Street, and I guess he had another report of further damage either in some basements and things like that, so Visconti said nobody goes into 7, so that was the final thing and that was abandoned.
Hayden: Yeah. There was enough there and we were marking off. There were a lot of damaged apparatus there that were covered. We tried to get searches in those areas. By now, this is going on into the afternoon, and we were concerned about additional collapse, not only of the Marriott, because there was a good portion of the Marriott still standing, but also we were pretty sure that 7 World Trade Center would collapse. Early on, we saw a bulge in the southwest corner between floors 10 and 13, and we had put a transit on that and we were pretty sure she was going to collapse. You actually could see there was a visible bulge, it ran up about three floors. It came down about 5 o’clock in the afternoon, but by about 2 o’clock in the afternoon we realized this thing was going to collapse.

Firehouse: Was there heavy fire in there right away?

Hayden: No, not right away, and that’s probably why it stood for so long because it took a while for that fire to develop. It was a heavy body of fire in there and then we didn’t make any attempt to fight it. That was just one of those wars we were just going to lose. We were concerned about the collapse of a 47-story building there. We were worried about additional collapse there of what was remaining standing of the towers and the Marriott, so we started pulling the people back after a couple of hours of surface removal and searches along the surface of the debris. We started to pull guys back because we were concerned for their safety.

Firehouse: Chief Nigro said they made a collapse zone and wanted everybody away from number 7— did you have to get all of those people out?

Hayden: Yeah, we had to pull everybody back. It was very difficult. We had to be very forceful in getting the guys out. They didn’t want to come out. There were guys going into areas that I wasn’t even really comfortable with, because of the possibility of secondary collapses. We didn’t know how stable any of this area was. We pulled everybody back probably by 3 or 3:30 in the afternoon. We said, this building is going to come down, get back. It came down about 5 o’clock or so, but we had everybody backed away by then. At that point in time, it seemed like a somewhat smaller event, but under any normal circumstances, that’s a major event, a 47-story building collapsing. It seemed like a firecracker after the other ones came do

well I think you answered my question. and if you think me and a few others 5'ing a few birthday sites every now and then is killing the site, then go ahead and think that. this place became entirely deserted when it was nothing but moon man, party mouse, and pichu crap, with a few of "our" sites thrown in between. as of late, I've only been making 1 or 2 sites per month. compare that to the lizard's daily 9/11 sites and the krab sites posted by lurg and friends. I've even gone weeks without visiting the site in the past year. that's several weeks of up and coming sites that I played no part in vote-wise, whether those sites belonged to zaalnog, famery-gai, primaton, pilleater, whoever. when I do log on, I'm typically looking at the sites on the up and coming. as long as they aren't the "fads" that I mentioned above, they typically get a good rating from me. in fact, here's a screenshot of my current votes on up and coming sites: http://i.imgur.com/EqY97pb.png

If I like the site, I 5'd it. if I don't care for it, but can tell that it's good, I let others vote on it. I was going to 1 that CrimeWave site because I didn't like it, but I left it alone. I don't know who CrimeWave is...he's definitely not part of the "jerky crew" as you called it, yet he currently has the best site of the week. I'm not planning on trying to change that. I'm not 100% sure who GIFDawkins is, yet I've 5'd a few of his sites because they've been good/funny (heck, there's a good chance I may be talking to him right now). You don't see 5's on those two Kacen sites or that lax site, yet they've got green "friend" names. I viewed them, but they didn't get a vote from me. I'm not a pilleater or woman fan, yet you don't see a 1 on their sites. I always enjoy the birthday sites so yeah, I 5'd them. I like fourest's and Famery-Gai's sites most of the time and these happened to be ones that I liked.

I mean, don't get me wrong - you've made some good sites. The batman one with the tiger or lion or whatever the fuck it was is probably the best, but your recent output and a lot of your older output I find to be uninteresting and uninspired, with "DeNiro wanted a son" probably being the most overrated of your sites. In fact, "I didn't order that" which I believe is your second highest rated is far better and probably should be your top rated, though most of your better sites were made not on this account but that one where you made a bunch of batman sites.

The rest is largely hit an miss, similar to fourest, who is an overrated user and therefore is usually given a more generous vote despite whether or not the site is good. My sites also seem to be extremely polarizing, but hey, we can't all be Famery-Gai.

I've said before and I'll say again, you should make more batman sites like you did on that one account.

Also, don't bother to say "didn't read", you've said it enough times.

I've explained this dozens of times over the years but, here goes, once again for the stupid and the uninitiated: 1. YTMND didn't start out as the anus of the internet. There certainly was a plethora of morons here from early on, hundreds of little kids as well as idiot Btards/racists/socially inept fuckers who acted like little kids, but there were also hundreds o extremely savvy, creative, funny users--some young, like mattdh12, some older like typogra, inkdrinker, nutnics, Necromonicon, ryanmontana, MasterSitsu, dascoot, etc. For about three years, I was content to play by the rules and just make sites on the gr33nscr33n account and a few others that never voted. Like any forum user, I bickered with idiots when appropriate, voted honestly and openly (which ALWAYS resulted in revenge downvoting by the idiots), and interacted with the slowly dwindling few who seemed to get what made this site different from 4chan, Newgrounds, and the hundreds of other forums in which one can simply repost stupid shit stolen from somewhere else. Then I watched the place change increasingly for the worst. We all know the story and blame rests pretty much on everyone, starting with max's refusal to act like he cared about the site as much as the primary users did and more or less ending with the flood of trolls who can't get attention anywhere else.

So to answer your question, I stayed active here because I shifted what I got out of the place. Despite your inability to imagine that I am an entirely stable, happy, successful individual IRL, I get near constant "comparable interests" and peer input when I'm logged out of here. All day long, from my wife who went to MIT to my friends who write books, make movies, produce art that, if you were smarter, you might have read or seen to my colleagues and coworkers who literally teach the kinds of classes (maybe even THE classes) you were so proud of yourself for merely taking [...]

Problems with Starship Troopers the movie:
1. IRL wars since WWI do not have infantry as frontline forces. Since then, the trend has been increasingly artillery shots, then aircraft, then tanks, then lighter vehicles (like APCs, Infantry Fighting Vehicles and helicopters, THEN infantry mops up what is left). So, why, in the future, which would logically have even less risky situations for infantry would they actually increase their role, let alone make them frontline?

2. Why would said infantry not have weapons that could NOT eliminate the enemy in about one shot? What is strange that even the Doogie Howser actor points out that the bugs need a million shots, unless you hit them in a special place. In the heat of war, hoping to hit a very tiny place is extremely unlikely. Especially when they are ridiculously outnumbered.

3. What the hell is wrong with the sergeant who threw a knife at the hand of a private? This is supposed to be a protagonist? What I thought was crazier was his justification on practicing knife throws:

"[Zim throws a knife and hits Ace's hand pinning it to the wall]
Career Sergeant Zim: The enemy can not push a button... if you disable his hand. Medic! "

This scene made no sense whatsoever. The alien bugs used neither knives nor nukes. This scene might as well been about practicing scuba diving warfare. Even if the bugs used knives, guns are way more powerful. And if the knives were for the humans, even standard assault rifles needed 100 shots to take down a bug. A knife would be a joke. If this scene was to highlight what a tough nut the sarge was, that would still not be a good enough excuse. Full Metal Jacket and other military movies displaying aggressive drill sergeants have them doing things which actually make sense.

4. Why didn't the forces of Earth just nuke the damn aliens?

Unlike practically every other site on the internet, there is absolutely no moderation whatsoever when it comes to comments. You can say whatever the fuck you want and get away with it. And guess what? I didn't flame you just because you like the show, I flamed you because YOU FLAMED ME! Hell, you're still flaming me in the description of this very site. Don't dish it out if you can't take it.

And speaking of no moderation, that also means you can make any sites you want. But it doesn't make them immune from criticism. No one is stopping you from making Pedotown sites, but no one is stopping me and others from downvoting and insulting them, and making anti-Pedotown sites. In fact, this entire conflict between us started when you showed up to downvote and comment on my site, which I made as a response to another user's Pedotown site. You're framing it like you were completely innocent and I just went out of my way to flame you for the subject material of your sites, which isn't the case at all.

So get over yourself and stop trying to play the victim.
