It kinda, sorta complies with the Epic model. Considering that none of the soldiers were firing with decent aim, he could've just turned right, ran past the soldiers in the aisles (kicking any that were acting up), and jumped out that fragile window. Testing the durability of the grappling hook there was unnecessary.
